Indications
For the treatment of infections caused by organisms sentsitive to trimethoprim and sulfdoxine in cattle, sheep, pigs, horses, dogs and cats.
Dosage

| 1 mL/ 15 kg bodyweight daily. Increase dose to 1 mL/ 10 kg bodyweight daily in cases of severe infection. Animals may be treated with injection alone or the initial injections followed by daily administration of an oral Tribrissen or Tribactral formulation. | Trivetrin may be used to initiate a course of treatment with Tribrissen 20 or 80 tablets; give a single 1 mL/ 15 kg bodyweight injection if following with the first tablet within 12 hours. Give a 1 mL/ 8 kg bodyweight injection if administration of the first tablet is to be delayed until the day following injection. |
Withholding Period(s)
Meat (cattle, sheep, pigs): DO NOT USE less than 14 days before slaughter for human consumption.
(Horses): DO NOT USE less than 28 days before slaughter for human consumption.
Milk:
Milk collected from cows and ewes within 36 hours (3 milkings) following a single treatment, or 72 hours (6 milkings) following the last of multiple treatments, MUST NOT BE USED for human consumption or processing. This milk should not be fed to bobby calves.
