Animal Ethics
An integral part of the Research and Development programme at Jurox is conducting field trials on our new products to ensure their efficacy.
Jurox maintains a high regard for its moral and ethical obligations in undertaking any form of animal research. We have therefore convened an Animal Ethics Committee (AEC) according to the structure laid out in the Australian Code Of Practice For Care and Use Of Animals For Scientific Purposes (National Health and Medical Research Council 7th Ed. 1997).
The committee is made up of five members who represent the four categories of membership laid out in the code. The committee structure is laid out below

The Committee has been named on the research licenses held by Jurox in Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia, Tasmania and Victoria and is tasked with assessing research applications for these states.
